In partnership with the Utah LGBTQ+ Chamber, Cyprus Credit Union has gifted a $1,500 grant to Lucero Hair and Wellness, a hair salon based in Salt Lake City. The Utah LGBTQ+ Chamber of Commerce has been providing resources to foster growth and visibility for the LGBTQ+ community and their allies in Utah since 2012.
The salon, founded in 2023, provides skilled hairstyling services in an inclusive, friendly, and budget-conscious space. Owner/founder Joshua Lucero has made it Lucero Hair and Wellness’s mission to support people of all cultures and backgrounds, and build a hair experience tailored to individual needs.
And they’ve been recognized for all their hard work.
“We have won and been nominated for over 20 awards in the 2.5 years that we have been open. We have been named Best Salon in SLC in the City Weekly ‘Best Of’ Catalog since we opened,” Lucero says.
